I'm also new to all of this and I know how stressful it can be. I just finished my 1st cycle of clomid so I'm waiting to see if it worked or not. I think I've had PCOS for a while now seeing how I haven't been able to get pregnant since my son was born...he's 6. But I'm trying to get it under control now and TTC#2. Like you I haven't found anyone I can talk to either, I found this site and reading everyone's stories has helped me understand it alot better I never heard of PCOS until I found out I had it. Just know that you are not alone and you always have someone to talk to here...Good Luck!!!

Hello TwilightTina and matts luv! I found out I have PCOS a couple of months ago. About 2 or 3 years ago, I knew something was different because my cycles would come and go, and some months I would not have one. After that, I started not have cycles at all. I have now been referred to a Endo and he has put me on Met (2000 mg). I started taking it good when I was first put on it, but now I can't seem to remember when to take it. Plus having to take it with a meal is the hardest part. I've read some of the other Met Success Stories, and I am definitely trying to remember so I can see if I get some of the benefits some of the other women have such as getting their cycle on their own with BCs, ovulation, less acne, losing weight, and their hair becoming thicker. I would love to be you guys friend. I really don't have any friends that have PCOS, so they can't relate to me. I hope we can be each others support system. Hope to hear from you guys soon.

    Default Sounds like me!

    Hi!

I am also ttc. 30 yrs old. My meds: 50mg lexothyroxin, 2250mg metformin daily, 150mg clomid days 5-9, prenatal.

I have been trying since January and haven't o'ed yet! This is first time on 150mg so I'm hoping it works.

I have been on femara twice, clomid 50 & 100 once each with no luck.

I am definitely with ya, sista!

Well katemh, I pray that you have luck soon. My husband and I have been talking about kids, but we really haven't taken the measures to actually try. We are trying to get ourselves together. We have some debt and other things that we want to handle before we bring our bundle of joy into the world. Let us know what happens so we can have a online baby shower. LOL!!

i keep thinking the same, where is everyone, and how do you talk to anyone. i am 29 TTC #1 just started Clomid 50mg, and am supposed to be taking 500mg of Metformin. I am on day 3 of 5 of clomid, awaiting BW results and ? O results. I have to go for an HSG on wednesday of this week to check for patency of tubes, hopefully they are fine. My husband's SA is more than adequate, he thought he was superman when he found out the results. I fell very relieved to know that there are people going through the same thing as I am. It has been a long road, and not many people go through what we're going through. I have two friends with the same problem and one had kids before she found out and the other got pregnant her first month off birthcontrol so they are not great helpers of support, LOL. I would love to keep in touch to see how you are doing? and how your progress is going.
