Ok, UP completely caught me off guard, too. I was bawlin'. Even the little animated short before the movie started - with the storks... that hit me hard, and then to follow it up with the beginning of UP... ugh. I wanted to look around and be all like, "hello! what are you tryin' to say? huh?" ha!

At the same time, though, it was surprisingly reflective of how the relationship with your SO changes and grows and how there's solace or peace in that.

    Good job Chicklett!

You should add Juno..mainly teen pregancy too. They don't really go into why the other lady can't get pregant. But let's just twist the knife when a 16yo gets prego on the first time.

Juno is a good one. I liked how obtuse Juno was (typical 16-year-old!). When they were sitting in Mark & Vanessa's living room for the first time, and Vanessa is asking Juno about her symptoms, and Juno is like, "You're so lucky it's not you!" The look on Vanessa's face is heartbreaking.

DH and I saw UP when it first came out, which happened to be just two short weeks after I got dx'd. Yeah...it took everything in me to not audibly sob uncontrollably in the middle of that packed theater. But boy was that a great film!

I remember in the movie Someone Like You, Ashley Judd's character had a sister who had infertility treatments. They were practicing the shots on oranges. She ended up losing the baby. That part was so hard for me to watch. Good movie though!

Even though their not really about infertility, I bawled all the way threw If These Walls Could Talk w/Demi Moore & Midwives w/Sissy Spacek. Of course I love anything w/Sissy Spacek, her movie Night Mother OMG I just sobbed.

    TV show: West Wing!
There's a flashback episode where Toby and his wife were going through IVF after exhausting other treatments. It showed the impact that infertility has on a marriage, especially with busy, busy people (he's a political strategist and she is a congresswoman). They eventually divorce, but later in the show they sleep together and conceive twins.

In the book they go way more indepth about her infertility. I finished the book in a just a few hours, it was so good I couldnt put it down. My DH started laughing at me when I was SOBBING while I was reading. (which makes it pretty difficult to read when your eyes are full of tears!)
