    Default Wig?

Should i get a wig? I need opinions. I am in my twenties and i have hair loss that pretty much makes me look a little sick ya know. I am white and want to get a full lace wig but will i be able to look good in one? Can i pull it off? I am starting shcool in the spring and want to know if you all think starting school and getting a wig is too much at once.

    Hey....I'm with you
I've been thinking about it too.havent seen my Bf oevr 10 months now.he lives in London and last time I saw him for new years I was a normal girl with full thick curly hair.just thinking about it makes me sad.I'm seriously considering good quality natural hair wig if my shed doesnt stop by Dec.I can't face my old friends when they will ask me what d hell has happened to me(for sure)
I would say if it makes you more confident and focus more on your studies then go for it.however for now you can wear a stylish hat.(sth that would be loose enough, not damaging the remaining hairs)
    good luck

i think getting a wig and starting school are perfect to do together. you'll be meeting new people and feel confident - and they wouldn't have known you pre-wig. it's fun to try on a bunch of nice wigs if you have a retailer/specialty salon near you.

i'm in my 20s too... not in a wig full time yet, but my avatar pic is a 3/4 cap wig w/ realistic part.

    good luck

Are there any websites that have wigs that look and feel natural?

    Default Yes

Yes there are, and the more money you have the better.
Mslola.com was referred to me by a stylist. The best wig is an virgin indian remy wig and have ms lola color it for you and it runs a little over 500 and it lasts for a year and a half so if you color your hair every 6 weeks it turns out the same but its just all up front. I havent ordered yet but i am thinking of ordering before i have the dough lol

Beautiful ladies: another option is getting a topper if your hair loss has progressed to where a wig would be helpful. What is a topper? Well, it is a cosmetic solution. It sounds bizzare but it is kind of like a wig that is glued to your head, and you wash it, do everything in it. My sister has one. Looks great on her. Go to heralopecia, awesome websight and read up on it. It is f-- expensive though. It pretty much saved my sisters life though. She was acting suicidal before she found that solution. No one could tell. Not even her boyfriend that lived with her! Amazing, huh? If my hair loss ever gets that bad, I am moving on from extensions to toppers without a second thought!
