    Default Follicle Size

Hi Ladies, I had an u/s on cd11 and had 4 follicles at 9mm. Is that a good size for cd11 or is it on the small size? I have my next u/s tomorrow on cd13

They show me BOY and OCTOBER so this is either birth month, concieve month or the month you find out in. Have you tried using accupuncture and a body cleanse?

Are you going natural, with medication (and if so what kind)? Are you planning on triggering? Your treatment really makes a difference in what is "normal" for follicle development.

I mean, that sounds well enough- follicles can grow 1-2mm a day. So, if it's non-medicated or a clomid/femara cycle it means you might Ov later in the cycle. If it's an injectable cycle it may mean that you could stim longer. Overall, I would say it sounds like they are trying to grow- and that is good- but they might be a little later than expected. There's nothing wrong with that, but just be prepared in case they are not mature by your next check.

    Best wishes.

Actually I'm doing a research study called the Lutrepatch. I'm taking clomid 50mg and GNrH. One is real and one is the placibo, don't know which is which, but I definetly have 1 that is real. Tomorrow is CD13 which is my next scan. On a normal cycle with no meds I usually O anytime from cd 14 to cd17 it varies month to month.

Well, hmmm it sounds like you may be right on track then. 9's can be anywhere from a 11 to a 13 (or more) by your next check if they grew properly, which would put you on track for Ov'ing on CD17... but then again, you can't be sure... I've had almost mature follicles give up and reabsorb before. You can try to get a better idea, but in the end it really is out of your hands-

Here's hoping for the best- good luck.
