Default How fast a HB rate is too fast?

Don't ask why I am up in the middle of the night fussing about this.

Every time I have had an u/s, or heard the hb with a doppler, the HB has clocked around 167-170. Isn't it supposed to slow as the pregnancy continues?

My baby's HB has been clocked in the 160's the entire pregnancy. It wasn't until this last visit when his HB was a little slower at 155 BPM which the dr felt was perfectly fine.

I agree with mixedupmarie. At my 32 week appointment, baby's heartrate was at 170. The OB said that it is perfectly normal.

The heartbeat is going to vary at every visit. It will start out higher and then steadily decrease.
Jack's heartbeat has been 160's and some 150's for almost all of his visits except for the last one he dropped down to 146. It will continue to lower until I give birth.
When the heartbeat drops too fast is when they worry.

Yep!! We will probably be calling him Jack most of the time. We are naming him after my grandpa.
