Deanna, you were answering about Met and the pill helping the cysts to go away....what about just Met? WE're TTC, so can the Met along with weight loss help them go away?

I'm having an ultrasound next week--the first one in seven years! So it should be interesting to compare the pictures with the pics in this thread.

I had my first ultrasound at 18, when I was first diagnosed. I was put on the pill, and then a few years later when I had another u/s, they said that a lot of the cysts had disappeared. I've been off the pill for a month, but wouldn't it be awesome if they were ALL gone after being on the pill for twelve years?

I'm not holding my breath, but you never know!

    Hello all,
I was dignosed in Dec. 08. I was put on Met and still am amazed that it's a pill that starts my cycle back. General question: How many times a day do you take Met? Does it make you bleed more than usual? How much weight have you lost since taking it?

Yes, Some women have normal periods... most do not. not every woman with PCOS will have all of the symptoms, some women, dont even have cysts but have every other symptom. PCOS is a very strange animal, and works differently in each woman.
