Dumb Doctor- Adoption Physical today..
well, I got my physical done- got in really quick-
I gave the "example" page to the dr- and she wanted to have the notary sign/stamp it so she darted off then came back with the cover letter even before the physical started- saying I was free from blah blah- but she copied it word from word- and didn't change Jane Doe with Jennifer E. (my name) HOW DUMB!!!!!!!
so I was reading it waiting to get the blood drawn- and went back to her office- and she already LEFT!!! and the receptionist whited it out- then realized it was notarized- and asked if I could come back tomorrow- !!!!!! to pick up a new one-
WHATEVER- I said- no she can MAIL me the letter- BEFORE FRIDAY!!!!! whatever.... just makes me mad- that they can't take 2 seconds- to read what they write- or say or do before doing it- she just wanted to get out of there so fast- that's great- so did I but come on- I paid for her time- and that's how I spent my money- my gosh!!!!
I'm calling tomorrow and making sure- she does it- and mails it yet tomorrow- ah----
argh..

Hang in there. I don't remember off the top of my head where you are adopting from, but we are going through Guatemala. In Guatemala, there is an agency that looks at every document with a fine tooth comb and your adoption can be delayed if there is even a simple mistake.
We typed up on our computer everything that needed to be notarized, even the part at the bottom for the notary to fill in (this day _____ of the year _____ etc.) and we had two copies of everyting, so if a notary screwed up his/her signature, we had another one waiting right then and there. We even did this for our reference affidavits. Just a thought.
Of course, what do I know, we are still waiting to bring Gabriel home.
Good luck with the rest of your documents.
