Thumbs up Dr Sagle in Edmonton

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who recommended Dr. Sagle to me. I was in to see her yesterday. She was so wonderful! I walked out feeling like I was in good hands. She was very encouraging!

    Here's the plan:
I am not IR, but I can't seem to lose weight, so she felt comfortable giving me 3 months of Metformin.
After this if nothing has happened, I am supposed to go back and we will take things to the next level (x-ray tubes...etc)
BUT, she feels really confident I won't have to go to that level, from looking at my history, she feels it is just time and about 10 more pounds off. She figures the Met will solve that.

What a relief! I felt so good leaving there, it was so nice to talk with someone who actually understands PCOS.

    Thanks again!

    Amie

I wish I had known about Dr. Sagle! I was seeing Dr. C and he was a total jerk about Metformin. The only thing he was willing to prescribe for me was Xenical for weight loss. I'm glad there's at least one PCOS friendly doc there. Good luck!
