Embarrassing question... is a large clitoris a normal symptom of PCOS????

Well there you go, you learn something new everyday! I had no idea I had a bigger than average clit but after reading this - apparently I have. Must ask dh when he gets home from work.

I also had a look at that 'CLIT' website and I have to say, if a women is going to have a photo of her bits taken, I wish she would (a) clean her finger nails (b) Either ware nail polish or not, not half and half (c) if she is going to have false nails on, get them filled before getting such a close up photo taken. Picky I know, but worth commenting on I think!

PROSC - I have noticed this about models myself and I am with you, I'm certainly not flat and sometimes am quite self conscious of it especially in swimware (like I haven't already got enough to be self conscious about at the beach). Between that and my bikini line, I might as well wear a wetsuit with a skirt!

Aisha - Yes, after the big 'O', I get a pulsing sensation too.

prosc, you're not alone! Right here *Pointing at myself*. I have the same problem. My theory is that it may have something to do with weight, for me, the 'fluff' ran out of places to go, lol. But it probably just has to do with your body type, too. Everybody is different and unique. I'm hoping after I loose weight this problem will go away, though...

I have been commented on for years that i have a 'huge' clit and now i know why!!!

ok now I am wondering....cause I dont have a large clitoris. mine is just a small little nubby. very sensitive but not large. BF doesn't think mine is large either. Maybe I am the odd one out here....who knows. If it is sensitive and you get off first ENJOY! I don't know that feeling unless BF is being extra nice!

An ex-boyfriend was thae one that clued me in on my large clit. I think his exact words were, "you have the biggest clit I have ever seen." I asked was that a good thing or a bad thing. Then he went in for a closer look and said "I love your clitoris." So, since then I've also considered it the only desirable symptom. Before that I had read somewhere that some women with PCOS have larger than averages clits but I had nothing to compare my against so the ex-BF answered that question for me. Also, someone earlier mention that their labia looked "stretched out" and not flat. Mine are like that, too, but no complaints so I've decided not to develop a complex about that. Too many other very visible symptoms to have complexes about.

first the thread about the underwear and now THIS!!!! LOL Who knew!?!?!?!?!?! I had no clue this was a PCOS thing, it makes perfect sense though! I have heard that my clitoris was a bit larger from an ex or two, but it works out for me when it is supposed to ...i suppose this is a PCOS sideffect we shouldnt complain about? :p

I was about to make a post on this, but then I did a search on "clitoris" lol... I too have a rather large one. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 15 and the doctor told me that it was "enlarged"... I didn't have any idea what a clit was at that point. But a couple years ago, I read that it is a more "rare" symptom of PCOS. I'm glad I'm not the only one out there!

I can't believe I never came across this before!! And I thought I was the only one. Apparently NOT the case...and I have it all. The oversized clitoris, the pulsing after orgasm, the "stretched out lips" and the fluffiness. I feel so much better now. And I have to agree, probably the only desirable symptom

Mine is larger than average I think but you wouldnt really know it unless Im turned on, and then it isnt huge so its just very easy to find...so I feel very lucky lol
If you looked at it when Im not aroused its more prominent than most womens but not like a little willy...then again when I am aroused its not like a little willy either...but Im pretty sure mine is larger than if I didnt have pcos.
As for the pulsing afterwards...boyyyyyyyyyyyyyy do I get that!!!
My labia are nice and neat though thankfully.

LOL...I just saw this thread and was like OMG will it ever end! I never really have seen other womens clitoris but was once told by an ex that mine was large. I didn't care because hell, good for me. But what is big? With me, not like you all care lol, you can actually feel not only the clit but its stem on top of my pubic bone when I am ah hem excited. Makes for some interesting orgasms....muwhaahaaa. I am nice and neat too. And I pulse when I am truly aroused and after the fact. Although I think we are all different and have different clitorises. But we cysters are better cause ours are bigger...lol. I never knew that cysters have the possibility of having bigger clits...I say Good for Us!!

I'd say mine is slightly larger than average, definately dont' have any trouble find it, I definately have the pulsing after an orgasm. However my problem is that i become very very sensitive on my clit when i orgasm i actually have to kick him off cause it hurts so bad.
