    Question Clomid and Cramping

Hi ladies! I took my first round of Clomid march 28th-April 1st and have been fine up until today.

I have had cramping in my lower abdomen (female area) that has gotten worse as the night progressed. That area is very tender to the touch and is even uncomfortable when I sit.

I plan to call my Doc in the morning, but wanted to ask my fellow cysters what they thought. Is this a normal side-effect of Clomid around this day? Will this pass soon? Or could this be a sign of something that may be wrong?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!! This is my first experience with Clomid and just don't know much about it.

You cannot be in the presence of a profoundly vaccine damaged child and not know that child could be your own. And you cannot try to comfort a mother who has just buried a baby who has died from a vaccine or a disease and not know that you could be the one standing over the grave. When it happens to your child, the risks are 100 percent.

It could be ovulation pain. On my first clomid cycle I had pretty severe ovulatory pain. I would describe it as lower abdominal/upper pelvic pain. I had it for a few days before I finally O'd.

    Good luck.

I had cramping on my 2nd and 3rd round of clomid. On the first two I was on 50, and the 3rd ws up to 100. That's the round that i got pg on. As long as the pain is not more than what your usuall pms is, you should be fine. Baby dance at least every other day, and put two pillows under your bottom for at least twenty minutes. I took robistussin to keep my cm from being hostile on cycle days 7-14 and it worked. (took clomid cd 1-5) good luck and lots of baby dust.

Thanks for the replies everyone! The cramping eased off by morning and I am just dismissing it as ovulaton, or just some side-effects of the Clomid. Doc wasn't worried since it passed.

I go in on the 22nd to check my Prog levels so we'll see if it worked. -->Fingers crossed!!

I guess it just startled me since I was not having AF on my own for awhile and even when I had them on the pill, they weren't that crampy. Heavy, tender, and unpredictable, but not really crampy like that night.

    Thanks for the baby dust!!!

    Default Just wanted to respond

    Hi--

I have had cramping with both 50 mg clomid cycles. It starts around the 3d pill, and does not stop until I ovulate, so it is normal.

    Thanks,
    Jodi

    Default cramping

I was reading some of the posts on cramping with clomid. I have taken it in the past (about 1 yr. ago with not craming) my husband and I are getting ready to do our first round of IUI. I started the clomid yesterday and woke up this morning about 4 am with sever craming. Based on what I've read I'm assuming it is a side effect??? Does it normally happen with in first day of starting???
