    Default Me Proud Pappa!

Lisa and I aren't back at the board full swing yet since Caden was born, but I just had to post a picture of my son. Isn't that what daddys do?

This picture was taken last night while trying on his new ball cap I bought awhile ago. His lil gourd isn't quite big enough yet, but Lisa and I just had to take a picture since I happened to have a hat on at the time (lol, I almost ALWAYS wear a hat!).

Caden looks a bit yellow in the pic because he is. He has a bit of jaundice. His pediatrician says that is common and it should go away in time.

He's PERFECT!! I can't believe he's finally here! It didn't seem that long ago that Lisa was wondering if she was really pg or not!

Thanks so much for posting the pics. I especially loved the other one, where you're holding Baby-cakes in your hand. It was almost Anne Geddes-like.

BTW, my niece and nephew were both yellow/orange when they were born. My (rather strange) sister-in-law used to sit them in front of the window - yes, like a plant. Apparently the sun helps. Either way, he'll fade to a lovely shade of NEWBORN PINK in no time!

I have to be the proudest woman alive...I'm very lucky to have these two guys in my life. Thank you all for your well wishes and congrats!

I have to say, Lee has been wonderful...I knew he'd be an excellent father...but he even exceeded my expectations! He hasn't been getting much sleep...he's been pretty busy taking care of both Caden and me. The poor guy has been running himself ragged. I don't know what I would have done without him, he has definitely been my rock (not to mention my nurse, errand boy, maid, counselor, and butler). I love watching him with Caden, he's so good with him...he adores his son and it shows.

Christine! I'm so glad to see a post from you! How are you doing these days? How's school going? It's funny you mentioned those days back in the 2ww...I was just thinking the other day that I vividly remember those nights of getting up to pee 4 and 5 times a night...and posting to my cycle buddies about it. (LOL) Time sure has flown by! Please give me a "Christine-update" when you get a chance!!

Leigh...I also love those pictures with Daddies and their bubs sleeping together, so this pic is for you! It was taken our second night home (I think).

(Disclaimer....although I think Lee always looks gorgeous, please bear in mind he is a new daddy going on very little sleep, and he has no time to shave...LOL)

    Talking So Sweet!!!

Have to agree with Lis, Kibbie - does make you go all gooey!!

Mind you, my son has never known what it is like to have a loving father, so I get all gooey over seeing doting dads with their babies (not to mention really angry at my son's dad for being a complete B*****d!!!)

You are right to be proud - you are very lucky. Just remember that they are also extremely lucky to have a wife and mother as wonderful as you!!
