Lots of reasons. . .
Been a member here for several months now & this is the first time I looked at this part of the board--and judging by how few posts there are, I guess I am not the only one who tends to be so problem focused that she forgets to think about what's actually going _right_ in her life for once!
Ok here goes:
I'm thankful for my husband. If I have to go through a bad a time as this (IF), I am grateful that he is at my side (though I wish with all my heart that he didn't have to deal with this too!). I can't imagine a better person to be married to, and I am grateful for his patience with me and our situation.
For my job--even though it's tough sometimes, I have good superiors & great colleagues, and interesting work. I'm especially grateful that I have one colleague who I can confide in about what I'm going through with IF, and she really cares & she can keep a secret.
For the fact that I live in a country where the infertility treatments are covered by insurance--at least until the next health care reform--so at least we have a chance!
For my GP--she really seems to care about me & how I'm doing, and is very competent. I am lucky to have found her.
For my sense of humor, it helps to get me through this!
For my faith in God, who I am really trying to rely on right now!
