    Default Met mixed with hope!

    Hi Ladies!

I firmly believe that MET was the key to me conceiving...with PCOS, my cycle STILL wasn't regular, and figuring out when I ov'd never quite happend (ov predictor kits didn't work for me because I was testing early, then giving up by day 18 or 19). BUT--I was getting my period, and it turns out that I was a really late OV-er (21 days). DH and I tried not to focus on the TRYING part...we just tried to have alot of sex throughout the month, not narrowing it down to different times when I MAY or MAY NOT have been OV-ing. Apparently it worked!

Please, do not give up hope. I was on Met for almost 1 year before getting pregnant the second time...unfortunately I had a miscarriage about 7 months into it--THREE months later, ladies, I conceived and I am 25 weeks pregnant!

I got off Met at 12 weeks pg, and things have been progressing fine. I never had blood sugar issues to begin with, but still stick to high fiber foods, whole wheat and not white, and lots of veggies and fruits. I just had a fasting glucose tolerance test at 23 weeks, and my blood sugar was fine.

You can do it, ladies! I am here to support and encourage, because I know that all things are possible!
