I joined these boards a number of years ago when my I discovered my first girlfriend had PCOS. The experiences of so many helped our perspective that we were not alone in the struggle. My patience for her mood swings came much more easily knowing the challenges she was facing.

Though we weren't meant to be life partners, I cherish the time we had. I still try to visit the boards occasionally in her honor, and to keep myself educated on the latest and greatest.

I am also here. It is nice (perhaps not the right word) to be able to see how PCOS affects the men in our lives. My DH has been wonderful, but I think sometimes he does not want to verbalize these feelings so as to not hurt my feelings. When he returns from his trip, I am definitely going to point him in the direction of this forum.
