Falling Betas Equal Miscarriage- Correct?
Hi Ladies-
This is my first pregnancy and things aren't exactly going as planned. I heard back from my doctor last night and she said my betas had dropped from 343 on Saturday to 287 on Monday.
I'm trying to confirm that this means I will m/c. My doctor wouldn't come right out and say that I will- just that is doesn't look hopeful.
I'm not looking for false hope if there isn't any- I'm just looking for straight answers. I'm not going to be surprised if I do m/c- PCOS combined with low (and slow rising) betal led me to believe this was coming. I just want to make sure there is no chance for this pregnancy before I resign myself to the fact that I'm going to have a m/c.
Quick stats:
BFP on 4/10
Beta #1 on 4/15: 202
Beta #2 on 4/17: 343
Beta #3 on 4/19: 287
Also- I've had no bleeding or spotting as of yet. Should I be concerned?
Thanks so much!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but yes, unless there was a lab error or a true miracle from god, falling betas mean m/c. I am so sorry this is happening to you! Remember, your cysters are here for you when you need us!

Heather ~ I've been thinking about you. How are you doing? I noticed your post on the pg board that said your numbers were back up. Are things looking better? I really hope so!!

I was really hoping God would send a miracle your way. I've been where you are right now and I know how much it sucks. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Feel free to PM me anytime you need to talk.
((((more big hugs))))
