    Default Cyclessa

Has anyone taken Cyclessa? I was given this today - the next step is a hysterectomy, which is fine with me! I have been on Yasmin and Ovcon-35. Neither of those worked for me.

I really liked it! Especially if the other two were too estrogenic, this might be a good choice. My doctor switched me to desogen because it is monophasic, but I was pleased with the Cyclessa. I had no mood problems, I lost weight, did not have fluid retention and (blush) it didn't kill my sex drive like some of the others. I also recommend desogen (same progestin as cyclessa) and demuelen, an older but also very effective pill. The two you tried were way to estrogenic for me and caused my non-stop bleeding, but I have had no problems on the three that I recomended. Actually, cyclessa is a triphasic that is supposed to help with breakthrough bleeding and also help with weight loss. I would not be opposed to taking it again at all. Good luck!

Thank you so much! I had never even heard of it until my doctor gave me the blue sample pack yesterday. i have taken desogen before - actually, baby #1 was conceived on it! No chances of that this time due to a vasectomy. I will start the pills next week - trying to time it so that I'm not PMS or AF on my vacation. I wish these cysts were cooperating!
