    Default Provera

    Hi

I'm hoping that someone with PCOS experience can help me out on this. I have had no cycle for 11 months.
According to me GP this is bad news because a woman should have no less that 4 periods a year or else it could trigger off a whole load of other issues that I don't need.

So - she gave me progesterone tablets. One 10mg pill for 7 days. She said that it should trigger of a period and that normally afterwards most women found it kicked back their system into some action.

Now - I've finished this 7 day course yesterday and nada zip rien nothing. Is this supposed to kick in immediately or should it happen a few days after I finish the course of drugs?!

    Stephanie,
The provera can work on us differently. For me it usually took 3-5 days after the last pill, in order for me to start. For some women, they start before they even finish the last pill.
I would say just wait it out, and be patient, hopefully it wont be too much longer.

    Good luck
