I had to ask this because no doctor seems to know the solution. I'm 14 and I have PCOS, I'm new here. I have lots of fluid discharge everyday. It's embarrassing. I don't know what is causing it. Does anyone know if it's related to PCOS?
When I Was Your Age I Had The Same Problem. To This Day I've Had This Problem. I've Heard Other Clusters Complaining Of The Some Thing .in My Opinion I Would Have To Say That Is A Side Effect Of Pcos

Joelle004- is it from your urithra, or your vagina? have you had it checked out to make sure it's not a bladder thing? If it's a vaginal thing, I can sympathise, I have the same problem, I just have a panty liner on every day now because of it. I think it's like Caitriona said because for me the discharge has only been happening since my symptoms all kicked in. Good luck sweetie!

It's from the vagina. I've had it checked out and I asked the doctors lots of time. I'm gonna ask again though. I used to think that it was because of my periods, but I have it constantly. I too, wear pantiliners everyday and have to change twice. It's getting annoying.
If they've ruled out infection, then it's simply a normal amount of discharge for the individual. Same problem here. Just that level of discharge is "normal" for me. Know you didn't want to hear that.

Ok this is really weird, I havre the book in front of me... It talks like people going through puberty are children! I got it at school, Here's what it says
"A small amount of clear or whitish fluid will start coming out of your Vagina. You will notice it because it will leave a slight mark on your underwear. All women have vaginal discharge - the amount varies through the menstrual cycle." euch so weird, the book is crazy! I think because our bodies usually don't complete the menstrual cycle the discharge is always there.

Wow--that's REALLY interesting...and yeah, have had probelms with excess discharge.
Actually, it happened to me the other week, but it hardly does anymore...however, a few years ago, it was major for me--I would wear pads just to be comfortable because it was ridiculous! Maybe it really is related to PCOS? I dunno--but that defintetely deserves some research.
Thanks for bringing it up, chica--that took courage.

It's there everyday. I'll get back to you guys when I know some new stuff. Good luck with losing weight!
Okay, this may sound a little gross, but these are important questions:
1) What color is the discharge? Is it a clear to whitish color?
2) Is there an odor?
3) Do you have any other symptoms like itching or burning?
If the discharge is a clear/white color, there is no odor, and there are no other symptoms, then it is probably nothing to worry about and it may just be normal for you. Wearing pantiliners may be the best you can do for it.
