Default SI - may be triggerring

OK, so here's the deal. I used to SI a lot when I was younger, but it has tapered off in the last few years. I usually only do it once a year, or less. Lately, I've noticed somthing about myself that is worrysome. When reading about SI or just about generic topic, I sometimes get triggerred. At that point, you would think that I would turn of the computer and walk away so as not to make it worse, but instead, I've been reading more and more triggerring things and just "losing myself" in the feeling. I haven't actually done anything yet, but I've also noticed that I've had a few down days due to issues that DH and I have been having TTC. I guess I'm just wondering if any of you ever indulge yourselves in being triggerred and almost letting things slip. I don't know how else to explain it. Should I be thinking about seeing a therapist again?

Julie

I think if these thoughts are running in your head it is better to get help now, before you get yourself into a really bad situation, and then you may not be able to think clear and actually go for help.

keep us posted k.

I'm doing fine. It was just one of those things that happens in an instant and suddenly, you find yourself back in a place that you hated to be. I guess I'll just have to be careful from now on and monitor things more closely. It's one of those moments when you realise that you are never really cured from depression and it's "accessories", just managing it.

When you get the triggers maybe you could do something to distract yourself from the thoughts? ((((HUGS))))
