Default sick of this hairyness!!!

*sigh* im so blinkin hairy iv given up on shaving/waxing hair removal creams etc. iv always been hairy aparrently i was like a " little monkey" when i was born according to my mum. i remember the first time i really noticed my hair i would have been around 10 years old and one of the girls in my school shouted out at how hairy my legs where ( at that time they where quite fine but pretty dark ) i remember shaving my legs for the first time after that and my mum going mad cause i had done it!
anyway that was the start of the battle started my periods at 11 and the nightmare began iv quite abit of facial hair very dark and coarse my arms my legs my finger and my toes are very bad i could shave in the morning and by the afternoon it would be stubbly again my df doesnt really mind so i tend to just leave it now ( apart from the facial hair i tend to pluck them all) but i dont feel feminine at all its a constant battle between me and the hair and im sick of it!!!!

Aww, I know exactly how you feel. Maybe you could get your doctor to give you Vaniqua or something..it's supposed to make your hair grow back slower so you won't have to shave so often. There are also pills like spironolactone but those can take about a month until you see changes

Your by loves you because you're you. And if that photo is of you and him then he looks like a hunk -- is that a kilt he's wearing? -- and I'm sure he reckons you've a fantastic feminine figure. If he doesn't mind your hairiness in general, I'd suggest you just shave your face and leave the rest.

I hate being hairy too, but laser hair removal has been my savior. I hope you can find something that makes you feel as beautiful as you are.

I know what the constant battle with hair feels like, to make it worse I'm indian, so it's in my genes to be hairy! it's horrible and the only thing i find that helps for my face is laser hair removal. I live in spain so i can't carry out the treatment in summer because of the strong sun, but i manage to squeeze in 9 sessions during the year and it does help. The hair hasn't completely disappeared but they are finer and lighter. My gyneo sent me to this clinic so i get huge discounts, i only pay £20 to get my face and armpits done.
My legs are epilated (save lots of money on waxing, and time!) and my arms are waxed!

I understand as well. The crazy thing for me was I didn't know it wasn't normal until I went to the doctor. I've always had the excess hair, for as long as I can remember. The dr did a rating scale and said anything over 8 was excess hair growth, mine was a 12.

So does laser hair removal really work? Does anything really work? I'm African American, brown skinned with course dark hairs. If I didnt shave everyday I think I would have a full beard, on the bottom of my chin at least, it doesnt grow up on my cheeks or anything. The women in my family have a history of facial hair but no one as bad as me. They all have maybe 6 hairs or something and I know i could grow a full beard if i didnt shave :-(. No one else has been diagnosed with PCOS and have all conceived with no problems. My issue has been facial hair since I hit puberty, but I was only diagnosed with PCOS about a year ago. I've been looking into all kinds of hair removal techniques. The main thing is I shave everyday and the hair is mostly under my chin so I dont think its as noticeable. But I definitely can't wait for the day where I no longer have to worry about this issue!

Has anyone tried Ultimate Hair Away?
