Default Sick in Mornings

Hey I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for me so that I dont feel so sick in the mornings when I wake up? I'm NOT preggy (theres absolutly NO chance of that) so I dont know whats making me so ill. ANy help would be appreciated... ANY cereal, cereal bars, pop tarts, toast, and/or eggs are out because they make me sicker even water is turning my stomache. So what CAN I eat? Any help is appreciated!

I have this, too. I have had it as long as I can remember. I would be interested in any suggestions as well.

I find that I am sick in the mornings if I eat a lot of carbs before going to bed. When I have protein meals a few hours before bed I wake up feeling fine.

HI

I have locah - late onset congenital adrenal hyperplasia as well as pcos. And that makes me feel really sick in the morning, until I started taking the prednisolone.

Also, I can't get out of bed straight away - I have to lie and wake up first.

I have hypoglycemia and I used to feel really sick in the morning until I got everything regulated. While I was working on regulating my blood glucose though, my nutritionist had me eat a couple tablespoons of yogurt - plain, nonfat yogurt, first thing in the morning. In fact, I'd put a little cup of it next to my bed at night and I'd eat it before I got up. Don't know why it had to be yogurt, but it worked.

What about a few cubes of cheese or some cheese-its?

If nothing else, they are yummy.

i have the same problem. For me, it's mostly carbs. If I cut way down on those it's a lot more manageable, I also keep a little bit of orange juice by my bed at night. I freeze it before bed, then it's cold in the morning. Just a few "shots" maybe 3 or four ounces of OJ right when you wake up, then lay there for 5 or 10 minutes, it helps me a lot. I used to just heave and heave in the mornings, especially if I got up too early. Any how, hope you find something that works for you!

This is going to sound weird probably. But whenever I don't feel well but i know i should put something in my stomach, i drink a 6 oz. can of v8 juice. it gives me nutrients, and I think it's probably t he salt that makes it feel better.

dunno.. never thought about it before I jsut know that it drives me nuts oh and I think it may be teh salt thing that ...shortandbubbly said. yesterday before bed (well a couple of hours before bed) I had an egg with salt (and a lot of it at that) and a slice of butter toast and I woke up feeling just fine this morning. Though I didnt eat anything I still didnt feel sick as soon as I woke up. Dunno, oh and maybe it isnt so much a pcos thing as just a woman thing. *rolling eyes* as if we dont have enough of those anyway lol
