I am all of a sudden sweating profusely through out the night and sometimes during the day. I know why my stomach hurts and why the feeling like I am going to hurl. But is the sweating another side effect? I am on 1000mg....

I have the same problem. I am at work right now and can't stop sweating!!! its so embarrassing. I feel your pain.

Same here! I'm currently feeling nauseated and my stomach feels upset. I just walked out of the office to run an errand and came back sweating like crazy! Its gross and embrassing! I'm just dripping with sweat! I almost want to go home so I can take a shower and refresh...but I can't. So I can understand what you ladies are going through right now. It sucks!

nausea is a common side effect of the metformin.....as your body becomes accostomed to the medication that should stop.... but i have taken it for 6 years and i am having other problems with my bladder....

bladder sensitivity.... feels like a bladder infection....but there is NO infection.... metformin causes intersticial cystitis-like symtoms! well for me it does ...

eeek, I just had to up my dose to 1500mg's tonight per the doctor, so another week of feeling icky. 3 weeks straight with each week upping the dose.... But that's it till I see her again on the 6th. Air is on at 63 LOL everyone else is freezing and I am ready for another shower... LOL
