I tried met 1000 mg for three days and felt horrible. I had constipation, fluid retention, bloating, hypoglycemia and terrible headaches. I have stopped now for one day, and despite driking 12 8oz glasses of water throughout the day, I am still unbelievably bloated. Anyone expereince this? My body is very sensitive to change and wondering if it is just tryign to adjust...but i'm sort of freaking out...any ideas?

Starting met at a dosage of 1000mgs is really high. A normal dose to start off with is 500mgs and workking yoru way up. That may be the problem.

Also there are different brands of the drug such as actos and avandia. Talk to your dr. It still might not be too late to try this drug.
