Default Side Effects/Blood Pressure ? about Spironolactone

I'm going to be starting spironolactone (sp?) and was wondering what types of side effects anyone has had from this. Specifically, I wanted to know if it seemed to affect anyone's blood pressure. I'm a bit nervous about the drug since my bp can run very low anyway, and so I'm a little worried that it might really drop too low on this drug. Thanks!

hi

I dont think that the spiro changed my bp. I have other meds to do that

But I know that at first on the spiro my periods went a bit funny. Every 3 weeks, then nothing for 6 weeks. But, we're all different - so you may not act the same.

Saying that, I really do like the spiro - and it has helped with my 'hair'. Although, as my endo says it takes 9 - 12 months to get to maximum result.
