Side effects on Mets for 1 year on 1000mg

Been a year since I started Mets and the side effects don't seem to be going away. I thought the side effects are meant to subside but I still have nausea (on bad days) and diarrhea seems to be pretty regular occurence. Am I doing something wrong or does anyone else experience this as well?
