I have taken it for 6 monts prior to starting a trial of Avandia. It is my favorite pill to date. It is also one of mty RE's top 5 pills. I asked about the triphasic thing and she said it is usually a non issue. I have never had trouble with triphasics.
Now, the only side effects I can tell you are a little bloating when I first went on it and then that went away by month 2. I love that it is lower in estrogen, no headaches and less bloating and water retention. I lost a few pounds on it over time without trying. Probably water. It keeps me very regualr and since it is lower in progestin than many other low estrogen pills such as Mircette, ortho cept and alesse, I had no extra hunger, tiredness, or sad days.
Hope this helps. I will add that after one month I wasn't sure it was any different than any other I had tried but after 3 months it was my favorite. A side note was that Yasmin made me very uncomfortable and one of my worste pills tried. Maybe our body chemistries are similar and this will be a good change for you!
