Default Side effects! Please help!

I try to keep a watch on both my carbs and fat intake but am still having side effects!
I can't figure out what I am eating that is bad. I don't eat iceburg lettuce anymore.
So do the side effects (specifially diarrhea) mostly come from too many carbs or too much fat??

Joy--How long have you been on it? I'm on the XR and my SE's went away after about one month--but that first month was awful!

I think it's best to avoid all simple carbs when on Met and to also avoid fatty foods.... Try switching to whole grain and then see if you still have a problem.

Some bodies just can't adjust to Met no matter what you eat. The best thing to do would be to keep a food journal to see if there is something that you eat commonly that could be triggering the s/e and eliminating it for a day or two to see if that helps. If not, talk to your dr about the dosage and/or maybe trying a smaller dose or XR.
