Signature Character Limit? How do some get away with TONS in their sig? & SlideShow Q
OK, I've been trying to add a slide show to my sig -- I use photobucket and I can't for the LIFE of me get it to work. I try to post it in my signature box, but of course it says I am over the 1000 character limit. Thing is, I've seen other cysters with TONS written in their sig, definitely over 1000 - especially when you count the url characters for tickers, photos, etc.
So, 2 questions actually:
1. How do some cysters get away with being able to put a TON in their signature and others (i've noticed in posts cysters complaining about this) have less character limit...mine happens to be 1000.
2. How in the world do I get my photobucket slide show to work? I've tried posting it IN my signature and also in the field below where it tells you to paste the http address. I always get Invaild File.

Something else crazy just happened. I went into my sig and DID NOT ADD A LETTER and only went to center my sig and it told me I was over the 1000 limit ... ummmm, I didn't add a letter and I've had it this way for a LONG time. What gives? LOL

Some of the larger sigs may have been 'grandfathered' in. That is, they were big before the limits came into place. From what I can tell, only newly edited sigs fell under the new limits. Mine was over it for a while and worked, until I edited it.

This has always been a question of mine. My signature is limited to 400x150 (the size it is now) and I've been around for 5 years! Then, I see the size of the signatures of the two posters above me and I just can't understand it!
