What would be average follie size when someone ovulate?

Well, I don't know the exact size when I O specifically, but my RE lets me trigger with a follicle over 18mm, so I would say it probably varies but over 18mm is good to O.

My Dr. says they like it to be at least 18mm to trigger. Good luck!!

Thanks girls for replying. At what size body ovulate automatically, if you are not taking trigger shot?
This cycle RE dint prescribe trigger shot and I am not sure I ovulated or not. Today is my cd 18. I had my last ultrasound on cd 12 where RE saw two follies of 15 & 17mm. So according to that I should have ovulated by now.

Anywhere from 18mm-20mm is a mature follicle that should ovulate!

-Went to new clinic and found out I was being triggered to early at 18mm and then my follicles were stalling out!.
Femvera 5mg +Clomid 50mg and 1st IUI on 2/6-
(3 mature follies 20, 19, 18m) 2WW
Hmm...I had one that was 13, and one that was 14 on my left ovary, but he wouldn't trigger those. Then my right showed one that was 25! That's on 150mg Clomid. I think they like it to be between 20-25mm to be "ideal." But 15 and 17 on day 12 is great! They usually grow by about 2mm/day until you ovulate. I'm sure they released.

I had a 14.5, 15, and 15.5 and my RE had me trigger that evening. IUI was 36 hours later. I think they grow about 2mm per day. He said those should be about 18 by IUI/ O time. Last cycle I was 3 that were between 15.5-17.5 and I triggered the next day. I got a BFP that cycle.
