I will give a full and proper update tomorrow or Sunday (promise).

Things are beyond hectic, but we are overjoyed beyond belief!

dx pcos 1998; have been on Metformin for 6 yrs (2000 mg/day)
Ectopic pg 08/02 ... HSG 09/02 -- all clear
Five failed clomid rounds as of 2/27/03
Laparoscopy 03/11/03; found multiple fibroids and endometriosis
3 rounds of Gonal-F injections with IUI's -- all a BUST!!
Myomectomy on July 8, 2003 to remove fibroids.
Adopted the Light of My Life on July 14th, 2004 from St. Petersburg, Russia

Dh and I have decided adoption is right option for us!

Our son Sam was born 11/07/03 and came home to us on 11/12/03, oh the miracle of adoption!

Update still to come... I have been so sick since coming home... I am going to the doctor for some tests as I have all the symptoms of Giardia.... ugh!

Oh, I've had Giardia when I worked internationally before. It's awful until you get some meds! Get some meds and you'll feel better in a few days.

Not exactly the nicest "gift"to bring home from Alex's homeland

argh... I feel so badly for not updating everyone after you were all so supportive during our adoption woes... but, I just feel so lousy that I don't have the creative energy to write long posts.. give me another few days and I will make an attempt.

Long story short: Everything went as it should have, our little boy is beautiful... we are a happy family.

I can't wait to see more forever families formed on the Adoption Option board!
