Default Skin ID- Should I Stopo Using It?

So I ordered Skin ID and it came in a little over a week ago. At first I was happy with it. I liked the smell of the cleanser (not chemically like other acne washes) and I didn't find it too drying. But now in the last 3 days my whole face has had a red cast to it, the skin feels too tight on my face and after I use the lotions it stings a bit. I've only been using it once a day. So I emailed them to see what I should do and all I got was a response that said "It is actually normal for that to happen. Your skin is just getting used to the product. After continual use of it, it should be fine." I'm wondering if they are just saying this so that I don't return it within the 30 days. What do you guys think? Would you continue use or send it back?

I would discontinue it. Anything that makes your face sting or feel tight can't be good for the skin. It should feel hydrated and not be too intense, but work over time. I have had bad acne since I was a young girl. I am now almost 30 and have been using a skin line called Mario Badescu. I love it and it is the only stuff that helps my breakouts and keeps my face feeling fresh and not overly dry or tight. I highly recommend going to their webiste mariobadescu or calling an MB rep. They are located in NYC and are very helpful and make very inexpensive products but they work great. Let me know! I aslo use Differin gel .01% to help with pimples, not sure if you have them, ( its a spot treatment) ) and is the only stuff that works and doesn't dry or make my face red. Good Luck!
