Talking skin looks great!

I have been on met now for just over two weeks and my face looks great my skin is so clear and smooth. I think it is from the met. Has anyone else seen an improvment like this. All I can think of is if it has made this much of a difference in my skin and I have only been on it two weeks what is it doing on my insides. I cant wait to go to the dr and get all my levels checked again. And I dont seem to have any of the side effects. Well each time i up my dose that night I am in the bathroom but by the next day I dont have any probs. I guess I am lucky

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

Hi there! Yes i do notice a difference in my skin when i am taking Metformin. It clears up and i hardly break out. If i go a couple days without it i break out horribley. I always get those boil like breakouts. They are very painful. As soon as i start the Met up again they go away and my skin looks good again.
Take Care,
Jodie

Cool

Yes, I agree my skin has definitely gotten better. Now that my periods are more regular, I do get a little breakout about once a month. However, I WELCOME these little zits compared to those big ol' honkers.

My skin in general though is my softer. My complexion just seems more "milky" if that makes sense. Prettiest skin I've ever had, I'd say. Wish I'd had it in high school!

Thankful to finally have a diagnosis to my weird problems!
Symptoms since a teen.
Only odd thing about me--popped out two little kiddos with no problem (almost too easy). Go figure.

I have only been on it for a week and I havent noticed any change, but then again, I have never had trouble with acne. I do notice it is helping me lose weight though. I really am hoping it will help my hair situation. I dont have a lot of excessive of hair like some women here, but it scares me to death to think of shaving my face. I notice since I started taking it though that I get tired really fast. I have been going to bed around 8-9, very unusual for me. I havent had too bad of side effects. I have only had 1 bout of diarrhea and sick to my stomach a few times, but never threw up.

P.S. I see you are Ricky fan. He is one of my favorites. I hope he has a good season next year with the Wood Brothers. I will be glad when he isnt teammates with DJ anymore. I have never liked him. Happy Racing!

Default me too!

My skin is definately better on the met. A little less oily too. I've actually had to use body lotion on my legs and arms (a first for me!). I've dropped a few pounds, but it's hard to tell if that's the met or all the running. I only have to wax my face about 1/3 as often (which is AWESOME!), though I still have about the same amount of hair on my belly/back.

The most impressive effect is that I'm a lot less moody. I know there's no way to tell if this is the met or not, but I feel more emotionally grounded, less anxious, less fragile. I still hate going out in crowded public places (the mall, the grocery store, etc.) but it generates less of an emotional fearful reaction now, which is really nice. Also, I usually get blue when the seasons change (maybe a mild form of seasonal affective disorder?), which I have so far seen no symptoms of. Maybe it's because time hasn't changed yet - I guess I'll wait and see. I love this drug though! Too bad I had to wait so long to get it!
