Like many women with PCOS, I've always had a dodgy skin - I'm 44 with zits, and I've always looked very red and florid.
A few days ago, someone recommended to me the Dr Hauschka range of cleansers and toners. I've probably tried everything on the market then for a few years, made my own. But I've got a really hectic month coming up and someone recommended I try this stuff, as most of it is based on rose oil (which I've found to be great), and is organic and contains no chemical preservatives. I didn't want to use any of the usual suspects, because I'd read that the technology in developing them is so advanced, no-one knows the long term effects, and they're loaded with chemicals.
After just a couple of days, my skin looks better than it's ever looked, and the redness is already normalising. My DH noticed something was different after just the first time I used it and he's the most unobservant man in the universe! It looks expensive but you only use tiny amounts and can buy tiny trial sizes first to try it out. I've never recommended anything before and I thought the stuff I made was better than anything I ever bought, but I have to admit Dr Hauschka is just amazing on this particular PCOS-er's skin!
Thanks for the recommendation and I'm so glad you've found someting that works for you.
How frustrating is it, not only that a majority of the time we are covered in painful zits (people without them just don't understand how painful they are!) butwhen they do decide to give us a bague 'break', our skin is haggered/ blotchy/red/dry (well mine is anyway!!)
I will definately give this a try. I expected it to be very pricey when I clicked the link but it's reasonable in the scheme of things these days. The trial versions are a fabulous idea.
Thanks again. Hopefully Santa will bring me some too

Hi ya
I've never heard or seen this make...Can you tell me where I might find it and the cost?
Oh and name.. I've got terrible skin wsith cystic acne so will try anything lol
Hope everyone here finds something that works as well for them as this does for me! I forgot to say - I also have excema, and this stuff seems to be keeping it at bay (it always flares up when the weather turns cold).
Mind you, if it gets much colder I'll be wearing a Balaclava and then it won't matter how great me skin looks!
