 slightly enlarged thyroid
I have a question or maybe a few questions...How many of you ladies have been dx after an ultra sound was done and said that you had a slightly enlarged thyroid. Did your doctor put you under watch wait and see or give you medications to treat it? The reason why I ask is because I had an ultrasound done of my thyroid, liver, kidneys etc and my thyroid was slightly enlarged. I haven't seen the endo for the results yet, but received a letter from him stating it was slightly enlarged. When a thyroid is slightly enlarged, do they watch and wait, or do they treat it? Thanks for your help....
