Default Slimming World

Morning!

Just wondering if anyone is doing Slimming World?

I joined WW a couple of weeks ago but then decided to do SW this past week, i have some books from a few years back, however because i know what weight i need to be on the WW scales to start our second IUI i am staying at WW until i reach it (i was weighing in at WW for our first IUI and i need to get back to that weight), after that i will go and join SW .


I am doing all green days and weigh in on Thursday evenings.

So far...TTC since Jan '06:

Natural AF's: 2 a year.
1st Clomid: March '06...BFN, 2nd-7th: No ovulation.
Met: '06...no effect.
O/D: Sept '06...no effect.
1st IUI: June '08...BFN.
2nd IUI: Nov '08...BFN.

Whilst on a break from treatment: June '09: first natural ovulation after a teeney bit of acupuncture...BFN.

July '09: Trying a more natural approach...coming off Metformin, starting acupuncture, low GI and exercise.

hi i have started slimming world this week, im not attending classes im just using the book and powerwalking. So far ive stuck to red days to get my head around it but im also scared to try green days as carbs bloat me out and make me more hungry. I hope i can stick to it but i worry i might ruin it by taking extra sauce/gravey/butter type things incase they stall weightloss

Hi Pina,

I weigh in tomorrow and i haven't been exercising, can't get past the tiredness (thanks to pcos!). I find i lose weight better on green days and i'm not a big meat eater. Are you covering the sauces etc with Syns?. What day do you weigh yourself?.

Hi so far i have made a chicken stirfry with 1tblspoon terraki sauce ( 1 and half SYNS) and covered the rest of the chicken and veg in soy sauce (FREE) It was ok but a little bland. I could have used more sauce but it would have ate into my SYN allowance. Tonight its red day and im having beef olives (FREE) but they have oatmeal instead of sausage so im not sure if it will be healthy B choice or SYN.
I had cereal for breakie (healthy B choice) and soya milk (A choice) lunch was tuna and veg (FREE) but it had peas which im not sure if im alowd in red days and sweetcorn but that was part of my SYNS
Not sure when i will weigh in, prob quite regulary to keep an eye on things
