Hello
I have about three hundred crock pot recipes I got on line. They list all of the weight watcher points and other nutritional info. It is a big file to paste here so if you give me your email address. I will send it to you.
Enjoy.

I love putting roasts in mine. I do a whole chicken, with some sausages, beer, a few fresh herbs and sometimes a bit of mustard.
The best thing about crockpots is that you really can throw just about anything in. If you know certain flavours go well with beef, for example, add them to a roast and let it go for the day on low. A little red wine, some garlic and fresh oregano make a wonderful beef roast. Cider, garlic and sage can go onto a pork loin, and the sky's really the limit after that.

I always love boneless pork chops in the crockpot. I just mix a can of cream of mushroom soup and a packet of onion soup mix in, and it's done!

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.
thanks ladies for all your suggestions and websites. I haven't made a roast in a long time, and never so easy. I think i shall give it a try sometime soon. Ajani, where in wine country are you? Im in St.Catharines. My husband works in N.O.T.L.

I also like doing stews and soups in mine. Did beef soup the other night (was going to be stew, but we were out of potatoes). Just had to brown the stew beef, then put it in the pot with a 14 oz can of fat-free beef broth, a can of water, then baby carrots, onions, garlic, and frozen peas. Let it cook on high for 3 hours (or low for longer), made a loaf of honey-wheat bread in the bread machine to go with it, and boom, dinner with little prep.

I used a 14-ounce can of broth and a can full of water. Didn't use any potatoes because ours disintegrated, but I'd usually add two large or 3-4 small/medium potatoes. Oh, and black pepper is always a good add-in.

If you ladies like your crock pots, you should check out Reynolds Oven bags! They're easy - and since you're cooking in a plastic bag, there isn't much clean-up! This is what dh and I usually do - we buy a hunk of meat (doesn't really matter what kind), add some spices, like garlic and onion salt, cut up hunks of potatoes, put in baby carrots, a little water and cook in the oven (in a pan)! I swear, it's so easy a child could do it!
The best part is, you don't really have to check on it until the timer goes off!
