Man oh man, my betas are taking there own sweet time to come back down. As of Tuesday they were at 7 which my doctor said is fine at this point. 5 days before they were 11, so they are coming down just really really slowly! My m/c was April 13, so it's been about 5 wks. He didn't feel the need to check my betas again so I hope i'm okay and I will get my little friend soon so I can get back on the road again. Such a long process
Mine are taking their sweet time, too. On the 23rd was my ultrasound where we saw the heartbeat so presumably they were over 10,000 then. Two weeks later they were 1500. A week after that they are still 500something.
I am supposed to have blood work weekly (every monday) until they are <5 but I don't even know if I should bother going next week.
I have been working out madly at the gym thinking maybe I can metabolize the HCG faster or something that way... I think all I'm doing is getting sweaty.
eta - MAYBE 10,000+ down to 500+ over 3 weeks isn't so terrible but I'm just feeling COME ON ALREADY... it's over. Let it go, body!

Wanted to say have fun in myrtle beach!!! We used to go there every summer, from when I was 2 or 3 until I was 14 or 15. I am so not a beach person now but it was a blast when I was younger.
I just learned the Pavillion closed last year. Bummer... that was a fun place.

Thanks for the well wishes...I'm really excited to get to the beach! This will be our 3rd time there. I just love it! Yes I heard also the Pavillion just closed down. I also look forward to the shopping in the States, so much better and cheaper than shopping here!
First, I want to say I've been there with the slow falling betas. My 3rd m/c we had to do follow up betas for what seemed like forever.
Second, just an FYI about Myrtle Beach. My BIL lives there, and when we visited a couple weeks ago, he said that some of the rides and stuff from the Pavilion are being moved to Broadway at the Beach. I don't know when it will be "up and running" and I know it won't be exactly the same, but a little piece of it will live on.
ARG. Just got my results from yesterday's beta and it has gone from 500something to 380 - over a week! This is taking forever.
The nurse who gave me my results said they tend to go down by half every week, so much slower than they go up - why is nature so cruel?? I wish there was some way to just suck all the HCG out of my blood.
