I have this small lump on my scalp and have no idea where it came from. And I don't remember ever bumping my head on anything, it is also tender to touch ( it's really freaking me out ). Has anyone else experienced this? And do you know what this could be?

Could it be an ingrown hair?? I have had a tender lump from an ingrown hair follicle. It was a bit nerve wracking at first b/c of the size and then it sort of came to a head and eventually scabbed over and went away.

It could be, it's not very big at all. It kinda hurts when I touch it.

Maybe sebacious cyst?? I have hs on my head - hidredenitis supperativa. You could always mention it to your dr next visit.

I too was thinking Ingrown hair, My dh had one and had to go to the dr to get it lanced open!
