Default small red/brown patches

As far as I know, I'm not diabetic or insulin resistant (normal glucose levels, not overweight, no symptoms of IR).

I've noticed a small red/brown patch on each breast, both in exactly the same position...about the size of a pea.

With the skin discolourations you get with diabetes, what colour are they? And are they normally symmetrical on both sides of the body?

I don't have any discolourations anywhere else, but I'm really worried. I'm two months into the pill and two weeks into EPO...maybe this is something to do with it?

Here's a picture of acanthosis nigricans typical in diabetes/insulin resistance. It's not pretty and is probably much worse than what most have.

I know mine is no where near this bad, but it at least gives an idea of what it looks like: brown or tan with ridges.

Sally,
Also Birth Control Pills can cause you to have small brown spots too. You say you have been on the pill 2 months. I noticed that most hormone pills add brown discoloration to the skin. Small brown patches on the face and breast.
