I had my ultrasound the other day in which the doctor showed me my polycystic ovaries, but he also mentioned that I had "a small uterus; very small." I was just wondering if this is another thing to do with PCOS, and would it have any risks or create any problems in the future when ttc?

Hi! I had a doctor tell me the same thing, he said that my uterus was really small, but he didn't seem to think that it would be a problem for me to have a baby, he just said that there was a chance that I might have to have a c-section.

I found out after I had dd that I have a small uterus. She was a small baby because of it. She was only 5 and 1/2 lbs. and was only 4 days early. She was breech because there was no room for her to turn. My doc told my not to do fertility anymore because the risk of multiples was to high, and multiples could've been very bad for me. But I prayed for a miracle, and went on to have 2 more babies, and they were 6lbs. 11 oz, and 7 and 1/2 lbs! Talk to your doc about what he thinks you should do.
i was told i have a small uterus as well, i was told cause i have not had children yet, and periods arent normal so its not stretched at all! but he did say it wont cause any problems, cause it can stretch ! so who knows!
