Is anyone else very sensitive to smell? This is very embarassing, but sometimes the smell of my husband disgusts me, and I'm not comfortable telling him.
The one and only time that has ever happened to me was when I was early, early pregnant with my daughter (2nd child). This was what prompted me to take an hpt. It was really weird because one day just out of the blue, I couldn't stand the scent of my husband any any fashion...if he stood too close to look at me his breath (although not bad at all) just made me soooooo naseaus I thought I would hurl. Luckily it passed, eventually.
I agree with the others. My sniffer works over time when I am preggy. To the point of bolting out of the resturant when the waitress walked over wearing some kind of watermellon perfume . My said gotta go and ran out to the car. They didnt charge us for the drinks the hostess had brought us lol.

Sometimes if I'm having bad cramps and stuff with AF that will happen, or when I have a migrane. One weird thing is there was this cheese soup at a restaurant that me and my husband really liked.
One day we went to eat there, and he got it and the very thought, look, smell of it made me so ill. (no, not pg) From then on out, every time I even thought about it, I felt like I was going to hurl. It's almost been a year now and I'm better with it, but it can still bother me. And it's all food I like and can eat if it's not in that dish. It's so weird. ok... now I feel queasy from thinking about it

the smell of cooking food bothers me....especially bacon...made me throw up once (no, DEFINITELY not pg!) Like everything else, I attributed it to the horomones.
It is related to the hormones. Definitely. Everyone thought I was pregnant too. A year later and the smell of chocolate still makes my stomach turn. I also am not pregnant and have never been so. I try carrying something good smelling in my pocket to "distract" myself when needed. I hope you feel better knowing there are others out there with the same issue.
