Unhappy Smelly odor after AF

I just had AF for the first time in nearly a year thanks to the help of Prometrium. In the last month, I've been taking tons of vitamins in an effort to O. Vitex, Soy, Multivitamins, Iron (for anemia), and ACV and Cinnamon to help the blood sugar and possibly weight loss? Anyways, since AF stopped last week, I've noticed being a little "fishy" smelling from my vagina. Maybe not exactly "fishy" but definitely less fresh smelling. Even after showers. I usually don't have this problem, but I'm wondering if all of the vitamins are playing a role in this? It's starting to make me a little self-conscious about being intimate with my fiance. I was reading about BV, but I really don't want to go to the doctor for it. Does anyone have any over-the-counter recommendations?

Angie, have you tried the Rephresh stuff? They have two "kits" that I've seen--one is a rinse, followed by an insert of ph balancing gel, and the other is a kit with four gel inserts that you're supposed to use every three days. Both kits are about $15 each.

I've tried the one with the multiple inserts and have gone longer than the three days between them, and I really did notice a difference.

It's always around the condoms and pg tests at both Target and Walmart.

Hope this helps!

Never tried em' however, I'll look into it! Thanks for the advice! I used to douche once every couple of weeks, but I was reading on the other threads that it is a no-no for this type of problem. Too bad, though. Douche is so cheap! LOL...

You know, actually I went to the doctor once because I was kinda itchy, and she tested for everything--yeast and BV and trich and everything else--and all the tests came back negative. Since she didn't know what else to do with me, she told me to use a vinegar and water douche to balance the ph, and it did work. So, maybe if used sparingly, it's not so bad!
