I thinking we could make a thread about good, alternative snacks (if you want to post nutritional info as well, that would be helpful). I always want to eat, so snacks are very important to me. Here are some of my favorites (and other users):

Sugar Free Jello (0g fat, 0g sugar)

Sugar Free Dulce De Leche Pudding Snacks (60 calories, 1g fat, 0g sugar, 12g carbs.. not too happy with the carb amount on this one)

No Sugar Added Fudgsicles (40 calories, 1g fat, 10g carb, 2g fiber)

Almonds Dipped in Laughing Cow Cheese (suggested by Bubs)

100 Calorie Packs of Cocoa Roasted Almonds by Emerald (100 calories, 8g fat, 4g carb (2g fiber), 3g protein) (suggested by carrottop)

No Sugar Added Popsicles- Soda Flavor (15 calories, 0g fat, 3g carb (2g sugar), 0g protein) (suggested by Jashobeam)

No Sugar Added Bomb Pops (25 calories, 0g fat, 8g carb (2g fiber, 2g sorbitol, 0g sugar), 0g protein) (suggested by Jashobeam)

Sweet Freedom® Raspberry & Orange Crème Bars (70 calories, 0g fat, 17g carb (4g fiber, 2g sugar, 3g sorbitol), 1g protein) (suggested by Jashobeam)

I will be adding to this list often (if this thread stays bumped) Would love to hear your ideas!

My "go-to" snack of the moment is almonds dipped/scooped in Laughing Cow cheese. I like the blend of the flavors/textures!

I really like the cocoa roasted almonds by Emerald when I need some chocolate. They have a great dark chocolate flavor without any sugar. In some stores (BJ's for me) you can even find 100 calorie packs of these that are easy to take anywhere.

100 calories, 8g fat, 4g carb (2g fiber), 3g protein

Sounds great guys! I recently discovered calorie free chocolate and caramel dip.. sure it doesn't taste like the real thing, but it is a decent substitute

What is the deal behind aspartame? I am always so worried about EVERYTHING LOL. Isn't aspartame in diet drinks? I am addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper so I may be screwed on that one.

I love NSA fudgesicles! We also buy the SF Jello and SF pudding cups. We also buy the Slim A Bears which are the lowcarb Klondike bars. I also buy whole wheat crackers to have with dips and salsa since I don't eat chips. We buy different mixed nuts, SF yogurts and SF candies for something to have around to snack on when cravings hit. You can also get a box of sugar free popsicles that are flavored like Dr. Pepper, Diet A&W Root Beer, and Orange Crush. I wouldn't recommend the Dr. Pepper, bu the other flavors were not that bad. Here is the nutritional info on them:

As a kid I loved BombPops and I was so exicted when they finally started making the SF ones in the last few years I bought way too many, lol. Here is the info on them: http://www.bluebunny.com/ProductDeta...&productId=154

These orange cream bars are excellent, but I can't find the NSA ones around here anymore, just the lowfat: http://www.bluebunny.com/products/Li...nge_Creme_Bars

The NSA fudgesicles are a lifesaver for me. I really love chocolate (I hate dark chocolate, so thats a no go) and if I have a chocolate craving, I just eat one! They are actually better to me than a candy bar so it is seriously one of my favorite of the healthier foods.

I will definitely be trying the soda flavored SF popsicles.. they sound delicious.. and SF bomb pops? I LOVE normal bomb pops and I am assuming that are pretty comparable in flavor? Mmm.. I will ask the DH to buy some tomorrow.

And I completely forgot about those creme pops, those are delicious as well.. I haven't had them in years.

The white part of the SF bomb pop is very close in taste to the original. The other colors not as much, but they are do have a nice flavor.

I just tried Soyjoy bars (strawberry flavor). Very yummy!

130 calories; 14 g. net carbs; 4 g. protein; 5 g. fat

And they're gluten-free.

Compared to Kellogg's Nutri-Grain bar:
140 calories; 25 g. net carbs; 1 g. protein; 3 g. fat

And I decided to try Sunsweet Ones Dried Plums in place of my afternoon chocolate. Perfection! Juicy, sweet, and quite satisfying.

25 calories; 5 g. net carbs; no protein, no fat

Compared to one Hershey's Kiss:
25 calories; 3 g. net carbs; <1 g. protein; <1 g. fat
(and very little vitamins and minerals!)
