Unhappy SO! Embarassing please help!

Well i guess the only way to say this is to just let it out so here goes nothing! I wet the bed last night!!!!! this has happened 3 times now in the last 2 months and each time i am mortified! I told my husband last night that id accidently spilled a bottle of water in bed so we moved to our guest room for the rest of the night and i had time to change everything and flip the matress this morning. but OMG!! why is this happeneing? does anyone else have this problem? i had a MAJOR problem with this up until i was about 11yrs old which was also utterly embarassing but here i am 22 and the same thing is happening. i have been under a lot of stress lately, we have a terrible roomate and are moving etc etc......do you think stress has anything to do with this? aside from wear a freakin diaper to bed what do you all think i should do? please share anything you can im freaking out!!!

I never had any problems with this when I was a kid but when I was about 21 it did happen to me about 4 or 5 times that year.

Everytime it happened I was having a dream that I was sitting on the toilet peeing. And when I would start to pee in the dream then I would pee in the bed!

I hid it from my hubby the first time but after that I told him. He didn't freak out or anything. I got some big pads like they use in the hospital when you have a baby. You just put them under your sheets and they soak everything up so it does not get on your matress.

Mine stopped just as fast as it started. However, I had a lot of bladder control problems right after my litttle girl was born and I did have to wear a diaper to bed for a few weeks.

Maybe it will just come and go like mine did. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I had bed wetting problems up untill i was 15 ish. I have the occasional episode now (21) but generally its like said before im having a dream about water and going to the bathroom and i wake up dive off of the bed and try running to the bathroom only to make it about half way and wet my pants. So youre not alone, dont feel to bad.

Stress is a big factor for most, especailly if you are more stressed then usual.
To help stop doing it try not drinking after 6 pm and if you do only small amounts. Try and go before you get into bed. If you wake up during the night get up and try going then. And if you start dreaming about going pee jump up and run *do not walk* to the nearest bathroom.(((hugs))) hope that helps

thats weird CJ, I used to have bedwetting problems up to about 16. I had allsorts of tests and stuff but there was never any reason found...it just suddenly stopped one day, I can remember it vividly, I just woke up one morning and saw a dry bed and that was that!

My dad said many years later that it must have been related to stuff happening at school, because it stopped suddenly after I left. I think he was right...although I have blocked out a lot of what happened back then, I do have very uncomfortable and unhappy memories of my schooldays.

Wow!! I had lots of bed wetting problems when I was a kid. I wore a nappy (diaper) to bed (and wet it) every night - my first dry night ever was when I was 8 years old (I think). It got better after that, but I still had problems for a few years after. (I'm not sure when it stopped completely, can't remember).

Then in July this year I wet my bed. It was a very stressful time, as one of my cousins had just died. It was the night before the funeral. I must have been so stressed. My DH and I live interstate, so we were staying at my parents house... so embarrassing... but managed to cover up... so no one (except DH) knows what actually happened!!

I wonder if bed wetting problems as a kid is an early pointer to PCOS?

sweety it happened to me untill i was 12 then it happened again when i was 22 a big part of it was i was haveing a lot of bladder problems. .. I know going to a chiropractor does help with that though.. . It might be worth a try something about the adjustments make your body more aware of whats going on or something like that hope that helps

I never had this problem as a kid,

But now i have pcos i seem to need to pee loads and i even wet my self in the taxi on my way home from clubbing! most days i have 2 wear a panty liner just in case, as i always feel like i need to pee! To be honist its starting to drive me crazy, as i never want to go out clubbing and drinking any more just in case it happens again!

Do you think this could have any thing to do with pcos and metformin???
