today I woke up and it was still light out so i assumed it might be 11 am right? WRONG it was 5 pm!!!!!! 5 pm and it was light out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i remember a while ago in december where the sun would set at 4 30 pm here!!! and it would be PITCH black! I am so excited for spring! now when i wake up at 8 am it is light out! LIGHT! the sun has risen and everything!!!!
ohhhhh I know! Where I live, in the winter we have virtual 24 hr darkness! BUT in the summer we have 24 hour daylight I havent been here yet for the 24 hr daylight though.
The winter here was kinda harsh!! We would have like 3 hours of semi light in the afternoon and that was it! When we moved here I was tired ALL the time cause it was always dark and my body just assumed it was bed time!
Horay for the sun! And my litebook

I was thinking the same thing. The days are getting longer, and while I'm not thrilled with Owen waking earlier with the sun, I am liking the light later in the afternoon. And it's been an unusually sunny February here in Southern Ontario, which is a bonus.

here in alberta, ive been walking in a tank top and jeans! its usually a little below zero and maaaaaaaaan does that feel good after those cold winters!
I know what you mean fruitsy, I love coming out of work and the sun is still shining and the weather is so nice right now. I like being able to go out and not have to wear my winter jacket and look like an abominable snowman.
