So, I went to the GYN clinic for a referral to a fertility specialist. It went a whole lot smoother than I expected. The doctor was a female, and she was really nice, and could not believe I did not have a period since January. She gave me a copy of my medical record from the state I used to live before I married a traveling Navy man, lol (just to have in case I see another doctor on the base who doesn't have it).

I'm scared because I have gained ANOTHER 15 lbs since my last visit to the doc's (when I was diagnosed) in February '08. That puts me to 165 now, and I am 5'10", which is still not overweight, but it heading real close. It only scares me because I am more active than I was back then. Maybe it's PCOS, or maybe I am doing something different. I also have acne all over my face now, which when I was a teen I NEVER had acne, maybe a few zits now and then. UGH I hate this.

According to my med. record, I guess when I was diagnosed, my LH was 4 times my FSH consistent (that's exactly what it says...) which I don't know if that is horrible, or what. Maybe someone can help me understand a little better...

I am so thankful for this mess. board... if anyone wants a buddy, PM me. I could use contact with someone who has similar issues right now :-)

Thanks so much!

Justine
