So Funny---Regarding laser hair removal I just thought that I'd share this funny thing that happened yesterday for all of you that are having (or have had) laser hair removal. My tech prescribed a numbing medicine for me to put on my face about 1 - 1 1/2 hours prior to treatment to help with pain. With this type of medicine, you have to cover the medicine with saran wrap (heat activates the medicine). Since I live approx 1 hour from the office, I have to put the cream on at home and then drive with the saran wrap on my face. As many of you know this is quite a site. Since I'm divorced now, there is no one that I know that has had to see me in this condition (except the motorists on the way to the doctore). Well yesterday I had to take my daughter (age 4) with me for the appointment. I didn't think anything of putting the saran wrap on my face in front of her. She looked at me and said "Mommy, why are you doing that, you look wierd?" I told her that I had to do that before I went to the doctor. She said "Are you going to go outside like that? I don't want people to see you looking wierd." When I told her yes, she said "But Mommy I don't want people looking at you when you don't look pretty." How cute is that. I nearly peed my pants laughing.
