 So I AM Insulin resistant! Started Met tonight!
Well I it turns out, I am insulin resistant after all. Well actually, the doctor said I was borderline. She also said that my liver enzymes test came back abnormal. She told me to start the Met right away. I took my first pill tonight (500 mg working my way up each week as long as my stomach can handle it)...so far so good.
Now what I dont understand is this...why were my liver tests abnormal?? Does this go hand in hand with the insulin resistance by chance? I have to go back to my re in 2 weeks and I guess I will ask all my questions then but this is making me worried that something else may be wrong with me now. Has anyone else had this?? TIA! |
