Default So I guess it's gone?

I used an ept digital and got a bfp on tuesday. I took another today and it said not pregnant. I still feel pregnant and there is no sign of af. We told family. I found out early with my son and told everyone and I thought it would be the same this time. I feel like such a fool.... and very sad. I didn't think I would this early. Could there be a mistake?

When did you take the second test? The most accurate test will be with your first morning urine. If your first test was done with FMU, and the second test was done later in the day (especially after drinking fluids) it could just be too diluted.

I'm sorry. I hope everything turns out alright. *hugs*

((hugs)) Don't feel like a fool - you haven't done anything wrong. I would call your OB and let him/her know right away. It's possible that there is a glitch in the 2nd test, or like Tensei said your urine was too diluted. Either way, your OB should be able to give you a better idea of exactly what's going on.

Yes, I agree. You should have them do a beta to be sure.

thanks for the responses. I called the ob office but they still haven't returned my call. I'll test again on tuesday, that's 1 week after expected period.

I hate my body so much. This is harder than just a negative result.
thanks for the support girls.

I don't mean to freak you out, but I would definitely test again with FMU (if you didn't already), and MAKE your Dr. see you! I had the same thing happen to me in March.

**Hugs and StickyDust!!!**

Definitely get a beta blood test--especially to find out if it is a chemical pregnancy, which stinks, but at least you'll know you were able to get pg. Chemical is where the egg implants, so your beta number rises (you'll get a +HPT), then it terms on its own early on, so you may still have beta number in your system but it will go down. Many HPT tests will show anything over a 25 as positive, so if your beta goes down to 20, you will get a negative. YOu won't get your AF until that beta lowers to less than 5 I think. I hope this isn't the case for you, but at least you'll know what happened. Good Luck. Praying for you.

I agree with the others, take another test or get a beta.

I had a PG in 2004 that I got a faint BFP on a Sunday, Tues and Wed, took another that Saturday thinking it would be darker to finally tell DH I was PG, and I got a BFN, AF showed that Monday, so 8 days after the 1st BFP.

Hope your story turns out better than mine.

I appreciate all of the advice. It really means alot to me
My doc finally saw me on monday morning, and I am not pregnant anymore. The nurse was a real piece of work about the whole thing. I'm switching doctors.
The worst is that DH is 100 miles away working on fire reclaimation. I hate telling him, sometimes life really sticks it in and breaks it off.

Now just waiting for AF.

Oh, montana, I'm so sorry for you. I know how terrible it is, especially when DH isn't there with you.

There are lots of great cysters here that can listen if you need to cry or just talk. Allow yourself plenty of time to grieve for your child and the loss of your dreams of the future, and let us know if we can help. (((hugs)))

Dear Montana: I am so very sorry. I wanted to come back on here and apologize if my post above hurt you in any way. I just read Lillah's post on this board where she said those who said to her what I said to you really hurt her feelings. This was not my intention at all, so I do hope you didn't take it as being mean. Those of us who try so very hard to get pregnant, have to take whatever hope we can get and sometimes, especially if using fertility treatments, finding out even that we were able to finally get PG can be a positive in this whole game. Of course, still finding out about the loss is just devastating and should never be ignored. I do hope you and your DH can get through this and when you are ready, will try again. Come and see us on TTC after a Loss; great bunch of cysters. Baby Dust to you.

I took a break away from the computer and today I am amazed with all the loving support I find on this board. Thanks you guys, truly from the heart.

Cheereeo- I was not offended in anyway by what you said.
After so many yrs, I had actually given up on the thought of having children. I've learned there is always hope.
