...if I'm the only met-taking geek who gets emotional when I see that telltale spotting on the TP that tells me AF is on her way?
I swear that most women would think I'm crazy, but after years of NEVER having a cycle on my own and blaming myself because my doctor told me I was too overweight to cycle, I finally started Met and have kicked both the weightloss AND the cycling into gear!
No, they're not 30ish days just yet. But I know it will happen sooner or later and even if I'm not ovulating, getting my body moving again will make TTC in a few years easier.
Personally, I have decided that I spend WAY too much time staring at toilet paper and I need to get a life LOL!!
It is great though that you are really starting to feel the benefits of the Met! Way to go!!

Here Here! I used to dread getting my period, but now I actually get PSYCHED when I see AF showing up. It is a sign I finally have some control and a semblance of normal. The PMS makes me weepy, but as DH puts it "At least you have hormones that fluctuate enough to GET PMS!" lol

LuLu - I spend WAY too much time scrutinizing the toilet paper, too. That's why I'm always amazed that I get excited to actually see something there. What did I expect, it's not like it was a surprise - I'm always looking! Lol.
Christy - I honestly never thought I would have a natural period of my own. Didn't think I was made for it or something and the excitement that I do have some control over things and that I'm making progress cheers me to NO end.
If you could drink alcohol on this drug, I would toast to it! Lol...
LOL, yep i get excited too! i told dh last month that i feel so stupid~i never thought i'd be so excited and happy about having a period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he just laughed
Jen,
We must be the only women in the world who want to yell "Yahooooo!" when we start a period! Even if I've made a mess and I'm miles from the nearest pair of clean undies or feminine protection, I cheer because my body is telling me that I'm getting healthier. You're among friends.
Carrying supplies now,
Sheri

That's another thing I laugh about, I have so little practice with "being a normal girl" that I hardly ever remember to carry tampons in my purse...I never needed them before!
So funny, so healthy, and all from that little white pill and a whole bunch of willpower! God bless modern medicine.
